At the end of April, the Chinese brand Vivo announced the marketing of Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro smartphones for China the Vivo X80 Pro, of which here are all the details.

While China will be able to take advantage of the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro smartphones, only the X80 Pro version equipped with a Qualcomm processor will be marketed outside its country of origin, in the various international markets. For the occasion, Vivo has chosen the most powerful chip of the moment for Android mobiles, namely a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which is here associated with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of storage space in UFS 3.1. This should allow it to offer performance as important as other high-end mobiles including the OnePlus 10 Pro, the Honor Magic4 Pro, the Oppo Find X5 Pro, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Sony Xperia 1 IV, the Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro, the realme GT 2 Pro, the Motorola edge30 Pro or the Poco F4 GT, for example.

An AMOLED screen and very fast charging

The Vivo X80 Pro smartphone has a 6.78-inch screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz on a promising AMOLED panel with a very high level of brightness, according to the manufacturer. It is powered by a battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh supporting wired charging at 80 watts, like the OnePlus 10 Pro or the Oppo Find X5 Pro. The mobile can charge wirelessly at 50 watts and offers reverse charging. It is compatible with 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and NFC. There is an infrared transmitter, like on Xiaomi smartphones, to make it a universal remote control with the appropriate application. The smartphone has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the screen. The device is IP68 certified, therefore resistant to immersion in fresh water and dust.

Note the presence of the image processing chip developed by the brand, the V1 chipset and Zeiss optics to limit chromatic aberrations. For selfies, you have to rely on the presence of a 32-megapixel sensor.

The Vivo X80 Pro smartphone is powered by Android 12 with FunTouch OS 12 software overlay. The brand promises 3 years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates. For the moment, Vivo has not specified the date of availability of the Vivo X80 Pro or its price but count on us to tell you more as soon as we are informed.
